Acoustic issues can ruin even the most expensive AV system. In this project, a client had a conference room with severe echo and poor speech clarity during video calls. The microphones were picking up reflections from glass walls, hard flooring, and a high ceiling. Instead of throwing more hardware at the problem, we approached it strategically. We installed a DSP with advanced echo cancellation, repositioned the microphones, and added discreet acoustic treatments that blended into the room’s design. We also re‑tuned the audio system to match the room’s natural response. The improvement was immediate: remote participants could finally hear clearly, and the room became usable for daily meetings. This project shows how proper tuning and room analysis can solve problems that hardware alone cannot fix.
