A boardroom upgrade is one of the most common AV projects, but it’s also one of the most misunderstood. Most problems in corporate meeting rooms come from mismatched equipment, outdated wiring, and systems that were never designed to work together. In this project, we replaced an aging projector‑based setup with a modern display, added a DSP‑driven audio system, and integrated a control processor that simplified the entire user experience. The biggest challenge was the existing infrastructure: inconsistent HDMI runs, no network drops at the display location, and a rack that had been patched together over the years. We rebuilt the signal path, standardized the wiring, and programmed a clean control interface that anyone in the room could use without training. The result was a reliable, modern boardroom that finally matched the needs of the organization. This project highlights the importance of proper design, clean installation, and a control system that ties everything together.
